23rd April 2024, Chisinau - Today, Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov held a telephone conversation with Vladimir Drobnjak, the former Chief Negotiator for Croatia's EU accession.

During the call, the officials deliberated on Moldova's European integration agenda, the ongoing explanatory screening procedure involving institutional teams, and the significance of exchanging experiences with recently joined EU member states, such as Croatia.

Deputy Prime Minister Cristina Gherasimov underscored the Moldovan authorities' interest in adopting Croatian best practices in Euro-integration, particularly in the context of accession negotiations.
