5^th March, Chisinau - Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Cristina Gherasimov, held a meeting with Evert Maréchal, Ambassador of Belgium to Chisinau, the nation currently holding the Presidency of the Council of the European Union for the first half of this year.

During the discussion, the officials delved into the priorities outlined on the European integration agenda of the Republic of Moldova. They also assessed the extent to which the last three recommendations of the European Commission have been implemented and the measures taken to harmonize national legislation with that of the European Union.

Deputy Prime Minister Cristina Gherasimov expressed gratitude to Belgium for its steadfast support, both in the journey towards EU accession and in supporting projects aimed at modernizing our nation.
