2 September 2025, Copenhagen – Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov held several bilateral meetings with her counterparts from European Union Member States on the sidelines of the informal meeting of the General Affairs Council (GAC) in Copenhagen.

 

‘We discussed developments in the region and at home, the challenges we face on the eve of the parliamentary elections on 28 September, as well as our country's reform agenda and the next steps in the EU accession process’, said Cristina Gherasimov.

 

Deputy Prime Minister thanked European partners for their friendship, openness, and support for Moldova's European path.

 

‘Moldova is not alone, and our European path is fully supported by all Member States of the European Union. This is the message received today from counterparts in Italy, France, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, and Hungary’, said Cristina Gherasimov.
