Cristina Gherasimov, on working visit to Poland
16 September, Warsaw - Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Cristina Gherasimov, is on a working visit to Poland, the country that from 1 January 2025 will hold the rotating Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
„I had a good opportunity to meet again with Adam Szłapka, Poland's Minister for the European Union, with whom we discussed Moldova's European integration agenda and reviewed our current efforts and future priorities. I expressed my gratitude to the Polish authorities for their assistance and support for our European path", said Cristina Gherasimov.
During the visit, Cristina Gherasimov also participated in the Forum „Future of Europe", organized by the think-tank platform Visegrad Insight of the „Res Publica" Foundation.
„We discussed the progress made by our country on the European path, the essential role of EU membership for Moldova and the benefits of the enlargement process for both our citizens and those of the Member States", said the Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration.
