26 February 2025, Chișinău - In the process of our country's accession to the European Union, the government authorities continue to organize training sessions for central and local civil servants on the absorption and management of funds.

’We are preparing the public administration for the moment when the Republic of Moldova will be able to access European funds. I would like to thank the partners for their support in this process of institutional capacity building and guiding civil servants in capitalizing on the economic opportunities that EU accession will bring’, said Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Cristina Gherasimov, at the beginning of the training session.

The Program, organized by the Soros Foundation Moldova in partnership with the State Chancellery, will help the central and local public administration to be ready to absorb and effectively use EU funds. Efforts in this context started last year, when a group of 20 civil servants participated in a training program on the same topic in Berlin.
