The 10^th Moldovan European Integration Forum was held today in Chisinau. The event brought together over 150 participants, including government officials, representatives of the European institutions, national and international experts, as well as members of civil society and media.

‘We are closer to the European Union as never before and we can bring Moldova into the EU only if we work together. We have a real chance to anchor our country in the area of peace and prosperity and it is our duty to seize it’, is the message delivered by the Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Cristina Gherasimov.

At the Forum, Cristina Gherasimov reviewed the steps taken in the EU accession process and the priorities for the future: ‘We also discussed the efforts that we need to make from now on, as authorities and as a society, to make progress towards a stronger state and a better life for our citizens. Today's Forum is proof of this joint effort.’

The Moldovan European Integration Forum was organised by Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Moldova, in cooperation with the Institute for European Policy and Reform, the Association for Foreign Policy, the Soros Foundation Moldova and in partnership with the Bureau for European Integration.
