11 June 2025, Brussels – While in Brussels, the Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov met with Marta Kos, European Commissioner for Enlargement.

‘Together, we reviewed the latest steps taken on Moldova's European agenda and our plans for this summer. We talked about how hard we are working at home, day after day, to advance on the path to the EU and to bring Europe into every public institution, every home, and every decision that makes people's lives safer and better’, said Cristina Gherasimov.

In the context of this week's discussions in Brussels on Chapter 14 - Transport Policy - and Chapter 21 - Trans-European Networks, the Deputy Prime Minister also spoke with Matej Zakonjšek, Director of the Permanent Secretariat of the Transport Community.

‘Matej presented us with a map of the European transport network, which includes the Republic of Moldova for the first time’, added Cristina Gherasimov.
