29 August 2025, Copenhagen - On a working visit to Copenhagen, Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov met with several MPs from Denmark, Estonia and the Netherlands. Discussions focused on Moldova's European path, the reforms Moldova is going through and preparations for this fall's parliamentary elections.

‘We talked about working closely together and learning from each country's experience and best practices in the process of transforming the country and joining the EU. In the Member States, parliamentary committees for European affairs play an important role in decision-making’, said Cristina Gherasimov.

Deputy Prime Minister thanked for the openness and support offered to our country by European partners: ‘This motivates us to move more determinedly forward to build a strong and European Moldova’.
