2 September 2025, Copenhagen - Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov met with Marie Bjerre, Minister of European Affairs of Denmark, the country holding the EU Council Presidency for the second half of this year.

Discussions focused on Moldova's European agenda and the reforms undertaken by the authorities to modernise localities, develop institutions and improve public services.

‘We also talked about the preparations for analysing the last chapters of the European acqius, a process we are finalising this month, as well as about our priorities for the future’, said Cristina Gherasimov.

Deputy Prime Minister thanked the Copenhagen authorities for their openness and cooperation: ‘Denmark is a reliable partner of Moldova and a strong supporter of our European path’.
