6 March 2025, Chișinău - Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Cristina Gherasimov, discussed the European path of the Republic of Moldova with the young people and professors of the University of European Studies of Moldova (UESM), who are not just interested in the European path of the country, but are actively involved in this process.

'I shared with students how hard it is to work every day to move forward on the path to the EU and presented European integration not as a technical process, but as a reality that will create new opportunities for them, in order to develop and build their professional careers.

Through the exchange of ideas, we realised that today's young people are critical thinkers, curious, involved and who see their future in a European Moldova', said Cristina Gherasimov.

UESM was founded 33 years ago. More than 2500 students are currently studying law, economics, journalism, psychology or international relations.
