28 August 2025, Copenhagen - Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov is currently on a working visit to Denmark - the country holding the EU Council Presidency for the second half of this year.

Today in Copenhagen, Cristina Gherasimov attended the Interparliamentary Conference on the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP), together with Marie Bjerre, Minister for European Affairs of the Kingdom of Denmark.

During the event, the Deputy Prime Minister spoke about the importance of EU enlargement as a strategic investment for the stability and security of our region as well as the European continent.

‘We also discussed Moldova's successes over the last three years since becoming an EU candidate country - developments on the European agenda, progress in the field of justice and the challenges we are facing ahead of the parliamentary elections. I was glad to see, once again, how much support Moldova has from its European partners on the road to the EU’, said Cristina Gherasimov.
