17 May 2025, Tirana - On working visit to Tirana, Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov had a meeting with Igli Hasani, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of Albania.

’We discussed the European agenda of our countries, the progress each of us has made on the road to the EU and how we can support each other’, said Cristina Gherasimov.

Deputy Prime Minister Cristina Gherasimov and Albanian Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Igli Hasani signed a Memorandum of Cooperation that will allow us to exchange experience and best practices between our institutions, to work more closely together in key areas and to build on the technical expertise gained in the process of negotiations.

’We can learn from each other. Moldova and Albania have the same aspiration - to become EU member states’, added Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov.
