Civil servants from the Chisinau are learning from German experts about EU accession

In the period 25-30 November, the Head of the Bureau for European Integration (BIE), Ghenadie Marian, together with the Deputy Head of the BIE, Rodica Jereghi, and 20 other civil servants from the Chisinau are in Berlin, Germany, where they are participating in the training program ‘Strengthening the capacity of the public administration of the Republic of Moldova in view of EU accession’.

 

The event, organised by the Hertie School University of Berlin, in partnership with the State Chancellery, with the financial support of the Soros Foundation Moldova and UNFPA Moldova, brought together several international experts.

 

Among the subjects covered in the program are: management of EU funds and strengthening absorption capacity in the process of accession to the European Union; integrity and the rule of law - essential conditions in reform processes; application of key performance indicators (KPIs) by the Government.

 

The aim of the courses is to prepare the public administration to be more efficient and fully involved in the country's European path.
