During the meeting of December 13, 2023, the Government approved the appointment of Sergiu Golovaci as head of the delegation of the Republic of Moldova to the Joint Control Commission, as well as the appointment of Mihail Voda as a member of the delegation. Both represent the Ministry of Internal Affairs and their applications have been coordinated in advance according to the requirements set out in the Regulation of the delegation, approved by Government Decision no.744/2011.

The purpose of these changes is to strengthen the capacities of the Moldovan delegation in the Joint Control Commission on the coordination of peacekeeping issues in the Transnistrian settlement process.

In addition to the delegation of Chișinau, the Joint Control Commission includes representatives of the Russian Federation, Ukraine, the OSCE Mission and the Transnistrian region.

In this respect, the objective of our delegation will continue to be geared towards promoting the interests of the state in the peaceful process of Transnistrian settlement and on solving the problems related to ensuring the safety of citizens, peace and legal order in the Security Zone.
